Are you curious about our community garden but unsure if gardening together is right for you?
Then join us for an orientation phase! This is your chance to get to know our community, our way of working, and our garden – and for us to get to know you. Help out with our community beds and participate in activities – it’s a great way to gain insight.
The orientation phase lasts a minimum of three weeks and a maximum of three months. After that, you can decide if you’d like to join us long-term. If you do, we’d be thrilled to welcome you as a member!
As a member, you can:
- Create and care for your own beds
- Harvest from the community beds
- Use the association’s tools and materials
- Access the on-site water supply
- Participate in workshops and activities
- Be part of a vibrant community
- Learn new things from and with others
Your Responsibilities as a Member
Our garden is only as beautiful as the active contributions of its members.
To help the garden thrive and flourish, we rely on the support of all members. Each member contributes 12 hours of active involvement per year. Tasks are varied and can also be done in teams, such as:
- Maintaining community beds
- Creating and caring for wildflower meadows
- Building raised beds
- Cleaning up trash
- Handling administrative tasks
- Helping at events (baking cakes, managing a booth, and more)
- Hosting the garden consultation hours
Important:
Caring for your own bed and watering are part of your personal gardening enjoyment and do not count toward the 12 hours required for the association.
If you’re unable to complete your 12 hours for the association, simply reach out to the board. Together, we’ll find a solution.
Become a Member
Simply fill out our application form and sign it. You can hand it in personally to the board or send it to us by email or post.

The fee is due annually in advance.
If you can and would like to give more: We appreciate €24.00 or €36.00 / year.

Supporting Member
You like our idea but don’t want to manage a bed? Become a supporting member!
From €10.00 / year
As a supporting member, you can participate in our meetings and activities. You are also invited to the annual general meeting, but please note that you are not eligible to vote.
